For Healthcare & Facility Professionals
A Referral Partner Your Residents and Families Can Rely On
When a resident, patient, or family needs a document notarized, you need someone who shows up prepared, works around your protocols, and never puts a signing at risk.
Who this partnership is for
Michael works regularly with executive directors & administrators, social workers & case managers, discharge planners, directors of nursing & care coordinators across the following settings: assisted living facilities, skilled nursing & rehab, hospitals, hospice, home health throughout Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach.
Can a notary refuse to notarize a memory care resident?
Yes — and a good notary should, when required. Florida law prohibits notarization if a signer does not appear to understand the document's general purpose or appears to be signing under pressure. Rather than treating this as friction, Michael uses a free Signer Readiness Screening tool that your staff can complete before booking, so appointments are scheduled with realistic expectations and rarely need to be turned away on-site.
How does scheduling work with facility protocols?
Every facility has its own sign-in process, visiting hours, and infection control requirements. When booking, simply note your facility's protocols (masking, sign-in desk, specific unit access, etc.) and Michael will follow them without needing reminders on repeat visits.
Is Michael HIPAA aware?
Yes. Michael understands the confidentiality expectations of healthcare and facility environments and limits his involvement strictly to the notarial act itself — he does not access, retain, or discuss protected health information beyond what is necessary to complete the signing.
Corporate billing & retainer arrangements
Many facilities prefer to bill notarizations directly rather than routing payment through residents or families. Michael frequently works on retainer or direct billing with assisted living facilities, skilled nursing centers, and hospice/home health agencies. Contact Michael to set up a standing arrangement for your organization.
